What kind of materials do you use to make custom plastic extrusion?
We mainly use 100% brand new PC & PMMA raw material. We also prepare materials with specific features like high transparency, frosted finishes or UV resistance as per your project requirement.
What is the dimensional tolerance of the extruded profiles you can make?
We have our own tooling and control of extrusion so we can maintain a consistent dimensional tolerance of ±0.1mm on wall thickness and critical custom shapes.
Do you make and design the extrusion dies in house?
Yes. Depending on the structure and heat-control needs of your profiles, we can manufacture steel extrusion molds or custom copper tools.
Do you have the ability to match custom colors for PC or PMMA profiles?
Yes we can match any color you need out of your pantone codes or actual samples. From solid colors to transparent shades to frosted finish, we ensure the color is consistent from batch to batch.
What is the minimum order quantity for extruding custom profiles?
Our MOQ for bulk mass production is normally 2000-3000 meters per item. But this will depend on the complexity, weight and size of the custom plastic profile.
How long does it take to develop a new custom profile mold and sample?
The custom mold design and building takes 10-15 days. Then we will make a test run of the machine and send out the samples to you for the final approval.
Can you cut the extruded plastic profiles to the lengths we need?
Yep. We do basic cutting on the line, but for the exact lengths, our workers re-cut the profiles off the line with professional cutting tools. This gives you clean, burr-free edges and the exact size you need for assembly.
How can you ensure the profiles fit perfectly into our aluminum housings?
We actually do our assembly tests on the production line. If your design has snap-fits or slots, we’ll make sure the plastic parts click or slide in smoothly against your aluminum samples before we pack.
What files or information do I need to provide for a quote?
Just send us your 3D files or CAD drawings (e.g. STEP, DWG, or DXF). It also helps if you can tell us your preferred material (PC or PMMA), the color or finish you’re looking for, and your estimated order quantity so we can give you an accurate price.
